Our Love Story

His Version: I was struck by a beauty and grace like I have never experienced or encountered before. So much so that my professional poise was tossed out the window whenever she was close by. I was constantly in a daze, messing up her breakfast order not once but twice one morning. I asked her for her number TWICE and she kept saying no. 

I had to get her number...

 

Her Version: A tall, handsome, confident chef watched me as I was shown my seat on Christmas day. It wasn't a look I had ever seen on a man before. I didn't feel uncomfortable, the way he looked at me made me feel confident. The noise around me faded as I tried to understand how I was feeling in that moment. 

He had already asked me for my number and I had turned him down.

I had to get him to ask me again...

Our Version: We exchanged numbers and have talked every day since. The 5000miles between us over the past 2 years has allowed us to grow roots. Neither of us were expecting to grow in love. But it has been a magical & blessed experience for the both of us.
